Leah Miller, LMSW, received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. She spent much of her career managing clinical programs and training clinicians in group therapy and individual counseling. She has clinical experience working one on one with adults of all age ranges as well as teens and adolescents. Leah utilizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach to her work with clients. She does this through methodologies such as Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Leah has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression and compulsive or manic episodes.

Leah’s perspective on therapy is that everyone should have a safe, unbiased space to explore themselves and the environmental factors that they feel impact their lives. Leah strives to build this environment by developing a warm, non-judgmental relationship with her clients. She believes that therapy is a collaborative and empowering process and is committed to helping clients process underlying issues and obtain their goals.
