Erin Sweeney, LMSW, received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. She has experience working with clients of all ages and from all backgrounds but has a  special interest in working with children, adolescents and individuals in early adulthood. As a psychotherapist in our Upper West Side therapy group, Erin believes that no matter what difficulties you are experiencing, therapy is a safe space where you can develop tools to create lasting changes in your life and learn to better navigate whatever comes your way. 

Erin works with clients managing depression, anxiety, social anxiety, autism, stress, and life transitions. Erin works with a variety of treatment modalities including relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Erin believes in an approach to therapy that is unique to each client and often blends treatment modalities depending on the individual needs. She is committed to providing therapy that is welcoming, client-centered and empowering.
