Elisha Beinart, LCSW, received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work at New York University, focusing on trauma, substance use, interpersonal relations, behavior issues, and emotional regulation. She attained a Sport Psychology and Mental Skills Training certification at John F. Kennedy University. Elisha has a Certificate from William Alanson White Psychoanalytic Institute in in Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She has completed the Gottman Institute Couples Counseling Level One Training. Her studies have also included training in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Elisha specializes in relational psychotherapy in order to increase awareness of patterns to adjust for self-growth.

As a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor at our Upper West Side therapy group, Elisha aims to facilitate impactful change by implementing evidence-based practices and developing a strong therapeutic relationship. Through an attachment lens and client-centered approach, she explores the client’s experiences in the context of environmental and relational systems. Elisha recognizes the importance of treating the holistic self to improve wellness.
