Danelle Givner, LMSW, received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Rutgers School of Social Work with honorary distinction. Danelle has postgraduate training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has also completed the Gottman Method Level 1 training in couple’s therapy. She has experience working with adults and couples and utilizes a client centered, strengths-based approach to help support her clients to find purpose and peace. Danelle is skilled working with trauma, anxiety, depression, family and relationship issues.

As a psychotherapist at our Upper West Side therapy group, Danelle’s belief is that people seek therapy due to challenges they want help navigating and understanding, and that everyone has the capacity for healthy growth, no matter what the circumstance. Danelle’s gentle, compassionate approach lends itself to a warm, non-judgmental space where her clients can feel relaxed, supported and safe.
